Weight Loss is more than what the scale says!

I have said this before, but it is worth repeating, don't measure your weight loss just on what the weight on the scale says.  You have to measure it by your BMI, fat % and muscle mass % along with inches.  And most importantly how you feel. I know for me, the more I workout, the better I feel every day.

For Christmas, I got a great deal on a Sharper Image scale that also measure fat, water and muscle mass percent.  It just reassured me that you can NOT rely on just the regular scale numbers to measure weight loss.  I had been workout out alot, and not really seeing the numbers drop like I wanted.  My clothes were fitting better so I knew I was losing weight.  But after getting this scale, and seeing the numbers change, it helped me know where my weight loss came from.  I did lose 2lbs, but I also went down 2% body fat, and up on my muscle mass. So keep up the workouts and it will pay off in the end.

The scale I got was like this one from Amazon.  I can honestly say, it is well worth the money.
